Pete Ecclestone
Principal
Pete's commercial and operational experience combined with his strategic and analytical abilities enable him to bring a diverse set of skills and perspectives to the team.
With over 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry, working in many different roles and projects and at the senior leadership team level, he brings an excellent perspective.
Pete most recently led the business development team at a public Canadian pharmaceutical company where he and others evaluated hundreds of medicines from a commercial, scientific, regulatory perspective. Applying a rigorous approach allowed the team to quickly identify the gems in the rough for the Canadian market.
Pete started his career establishing a foundation of commercial excellence. While at Hoffmann-La Roche he spent more than a decade working in sales and marketing. Building on a solid foundation of sales, he moved into successively more senior roles from training to product management, sales management, pricing, planning and business development. At Solvay, he took on operational roles which included leadership on sales and marketing excellence. This included, SFE, CRM and dashboarding, sales bonus and compensation design and implementation, sales force design and optimization, customer targeting, new product planning and business development. Working for more than a decade in business development allowed him to work strategically while at the same time focusing on the details, analyzing new products and markets for commercial and financial resilience, growth and fit. As a member of the Senior Leadership team for over 10 years, he has an excellent background in commercial execution, operations and business fundamentals.
